What a find in Bodmin. Such an amazing, quirky cafe solely with an Alice in Wonderland theme. The food was delicious and the visual impact was also first class. Privately owned and run by the owner who was lovely - as a party of 8 we all enjoyed our lunch in a very quirky, friendly, relaxed atmosphere

Popped in why in Bodmin, the wonderland theam is fabulous from the quotes on the wall to the door locks. Food and drinks were exceptional and very reasonably priced. The staff couldn't do enough and it's dog friendly .

A wonderful last minute stop to find something to tide us over until dinner. We popped in to Mad Hatters Tea Rooms and were welcomed by an amazing variety of afternoon tea options, a scone (locally made) to suit everyone, from Vegan options and savoury right through to double chocolate and ginger. The decor is a feast for the eyes and the staff are wonderful and friendly and great pricing.

Found this little gem of a themed cafe by pure chance and what a lovely surprise! We got to use the queen of hearts themed room and the kids all had great fun trying on the different hats! The food was amazing, the little touches like the cucumber butterfly just completely made it. If we ever find ourselves back in Bodmin, we will be sure to return.

Just had an amazing mint hot chocolate at the Mad hatters tea rooms today. Found this little gem at the end of last year's holiday season and promised to come back. The food is great and so are the lovely cakes. The owner is lovely and helpful. Will definitely be returning.

Absolutely loved this place after having it recommended by a friend, who enjoyed it just like us. The food was excellent a real treat to eat and drink here with a large array of choice from the menu (and even when one item we wanted wasn’t available we quickly found a substitute). The JubJub delight looked phenomenal and tasted just as great too. A must do is to ask the owner(s) if you can look upstairs which they allowed as you can see the care and joy they have put into the decorations keeping with the theme of the restaurant. If we had to pick a complaint it would be that the outside ambience didn’t quite grab us but thanks to the inside this is by far one of the best tea rooms we’ve been in.

Loved this quirky little gem. Probably the most fitting venue I’ve ever had a cream tea in.
